Elizabeth SCOTT
She
was tried at
Old Bailey, London

7 February 1787 for stealing bridles, straps and stirrups with a value of 15 shillings.
She
was sentenced to transportation for
7 years
and left England on the
Prince of Wales
with age unknown.
She had no occupation recorded. She died in 1790.

Partner in the original crime was Sarah Ault.She died “by overloading her stomach with flour and greens”, her hunger being caused by the reduction in rations.
