Mary ALLEN
She
was tried at
Old Bailey, London
on
25 October 1786 for highway robbery with a value of 72 shillings.
She
was sentenced to transportation for
7 years
and left England on the
Lady Penrhyn
aged about 22 at that time (May 1787).
Her occupation was listed as “a poor unhappy woman of the town” or servant. She died in 1843.

Her victim, Hugh Harding was the same as that of Tamasin Allen. One witness said of him “I never see him sober”.
