            Dorchester, Dorset
            on
            16 March 1786 for stealing a gold watch and other goods with a value of 140 shillings.
            He
            was sentenced to transportation for
            7 years
            and left England on the
            Charlotte
            aged about 24 at that time (May 1787).
            His occupation was listed as shoemaker. He died in 1807.
