William ROBERTS
He
was tried at
Bodmin, Cornwall
on
14 August 1786 for stealing yarn with a value of 9 shillings.
He
was sentenced to transportation for
7 years
and left England on the
Scarborough
aged about 31 at that time (May 1787).
He had no occupation recorded. He died in 1820.
