Peter WILSON

He was tried at Manchester, Lancashire on 20 January 1785 for stealing cash. He was sentenced to transportation for 7 years and left England on the Alexander aged about 20 at that time (May 1787). His occupation was listed as silk weaver.He left NSW in 1815.

Notes: Joined NSW Corps in 1797. Described in September 1808 as aged 40 years four months, with round face, fair complexion, light brown hair, blue eyes, and 5ft 5ins tall. Former occupation given as sawyer.
