He
was sentenced to transportation for

and left England on the
Charlotte
aged about 21 at that time (May 1787).
He had no occupation recorded. He died in 1816.

Received 546 of 800 lashes for robbing a house, and limited to 5 pounds of flour a week for a month.“Jemmy La Rou, a poor maniac whose death was occasioned by being exposed to the severities of the weather in a state of intoxication.
