Thomas MacLEAN

He was tried at Guildford, Surrey on 13 August 1784 for burglary with a value of 63 shillings. He was sentenced to transportation for 7 years having been originally sentenced to death, and left England on the Alexander aged about 18 at that time (May 1787). His occupation was listed as labourer.He left NSW in 1791.

Notes: Brother of Francis MacLean, his partner in crime.Married Margaret Bunn on 16 March 1788. Left the colony when his sentence expired, with his brother but not his wife.
