Samuel PEYTON

He was tried at Old Bailey, London on 26 May 1784 for stealing with a value of 200 shillings. He was sentenced to transportation for 7 years and left England on the Alexander aged about 19 at that time (May 1787). His occupation was listed as stonemason. He died in 1788.

Notes: The 21st child of his parents.On 23 June 1788 received a sentence of death for theft from Lt Furzer’s tent on the same day.
