Mary CLEAVER

She was tried at Bristol, Gloucestershire on 5 April 1786 for burglary of unknown value. She was sentenced to transportation for 7 years and left England on the Charlotte aged about 27 at that time (May 1787). She had no occupation recorded.She left NSW in 1800.

Notes: Sent to Dunkirk hulk.Gave birth to child which died on 17 March 1788, son of John Bingham, whom she later married.Although she returned to England, Mary later came back to Sydney. She is last known to have sailed for England again in 1819.
