John NICHOLLS
He
was tried at
Old Bailey, London
on
21 April 1784 for stealing assorted barber’s tools and aids with a value of 295 shillings.
He
was sentenced to transportation for
7 years
and left England on the
Scarborough
aged about 27 at that time (May 1787).
His occupation was listed as servant. He died in 1822.
